Congratulations on being admitted to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and becoming a new Ragin' Cajun! We can't wait to personally welcome you to campus, but there are several steps that you should take to ensure a smooth transition to life as a UL Lafayette student.
First, it's important to secure on or off campus housing prior to your arrival. The University does not offer temporary housing and staying in a hotel while you find housing can be expensive. Also, make sure to bring with you any outstanding documents to finalize your admission (final and official transcripts, marksheets, immunization records, etc.) and all of the necessary clothing, personal items and finances that you will need for your first semester here.
Please carefully review and follow the Next Steps Checklist before planning to study at the University. If you have any questions about immigration, enrollment or housing, please contact the Office of International Affairs at firstname.lastname@example.org or 337.482.6819.
